What are the benefits of taking part?
Our scheme is provided with the support of local small and medium enterprises. We believe that businesses benefit from operating in strong, stable local communities and we work with businesses that want to contribute to strenghtening their local communities. It also encourages local people to spend their money in local small and medium enterprises. Each businesses has a promotional page on our website which is a great way of attracting new customers from the large volunteering community.
How do I get involved?

To minimise running costs we do not have a fixed phone line at present but we can be contacted by phone on 07926164827. We are happy to come and visit you at your convenience to discuss your participation in person and answer any questions you may have.
Are there any fees or charges?
There are absolutely no fees or charges. ValueYou is a not for profit scheme and neither businesses nor volunteers are charged. All necessary materials for participation are provided free of charge including promotional materials and a page on our website to showcase your business. As you can see, there really are no costs for you to worry about now or later.
How does it work? How do you know they are volunteers?
Any volunteer for a registered charity who gives a 100 hours or more of their time in a year can apply for a card and gift voucher. Each volunteer has their contribution confirmed by their volunteer manager at the registered charity and the legitimacy of the charity is checked independently against the national register. We give you a template that shows you what the card and vouchers look like.
Do I have to sign a contract?
Entry into the scheme is based on a good will agreement-there is no contractual obligation and you may withdraw from the scheme at any time.
